Tutorial Information Technology (Chapter1)

lovelies, how was your day today ? i hope everyone are in pink. ppsst, nak tahu rahsia tak kenapa tiba2 sis active balik blog setelah berkurun lama deactive ? active balik sebab ni salah satu assignment sis for subject Information Technology Management (MGT300). huhhh *sigh* .. hangpa tau dak ni la first time assignment yang lain dari yang lain ,hmmm bagi sis la. selalunya assignment dari first semester sampai third semester asyik buat perkara sama ja ,quationaire, temu duga tu semua .tapi untuk subjek ni students MBM115 4A (business Insurance) semua kena pegang title blogger *hehe* sebab bila selesainya lecture setiap bab, setiap orang kena summarize apa yang depa dapat dari pnp tadi. so dari situlah lecturer dapat kesan samada students paham atau tak.

mulanya i'll be like  %*%@*(@ bila dapat tahu kena buat blog sebab mati kutu nak mengayat apa sebab mostly semua tak suka menaip, berkhayal. berkhayal disini bermaksud once kau dah start menaip bercerita dalam entry ni ,kau akan rasa seronok seolah kau bergosip, luahkan perasaan dengan laptop. haha 

whoops, pnjang sangat borak neh,let's go back to the real topic. First of all, a zillion thanks to my lecturer Madam NoorAzzura, alhamdulillah we have finished Chapter One.

Chapter One : Business Driven Technology

Why do we need to study Information Technology (IT) ??

- IT is everywhere in business. Understanding IT provides great insight to anyone learning about business. Especially we as generation y are mostly use the techonology. 

There are different meanings between Technology and Information Technoogy (IT). 

Technology is more to gadget meanwhile Information Technology is something that use the technology to manage and to process the information such as, the apps, android, software, ios and etc. 

IT give many benefits to the business function. It is crucial to know that all functional areas are interdependent. This will enable departments to more efficiently and effectively perform their business operation.

Business functions receiving the greatest benefits from Information Technology (IT) :

Information Technology Basic : 

Data : raw facts that cannot describe its meaning.

Information : data that converted into meaningful and useful info.

Business Intelligence : application that used to support decision  making.

IT Resources : people use IT to work with information

IT Culture : 

• Information Functional Culture is employees use the info of exercising influence or power over others.
• Information Sharing Culture is employees across dept. trust each other to share information.
• Information Inquiring Culture is employees across dept. search for info to better understand the future trend.
• Information Discovery Culture is employees across dept. open to new insight about crisis and radical changes ways to create competitive advantages.
